Éditions Ismael is an independent press, in form of a non-profit association, publishing french and foreign books in french and other foreign languages. Except for mere reprints, all the texts that we publish, whether they had been previously published or not, always come with new critical material. Similarly, we only present new translations, often accompanied by the source text, in the form of a bilingual edition. We strive for a certain coherence in our catalogue, and we take utmost care to prepare our books with the highest requirements of objectivity in mind. All our digital editions, even those sold besides in print, can be freely downloaded here or on Internet Archive and are protected by a Creative Commons licence cc-by-nc-nd 4.0 International.
